SB8200 Login/Status Pages

Anybody having issues accessing this now? As of last week I can only access this until my modem links to spectrum. I am on their gigabit service. The status pages will come up but as soon as the upstream and downstream channels link all access to these pages cease to work. This modem is not activated but I will plug it in occasionally when I want to check my modem signals. It has been working great for this ever since I have been on the gig service. Thanks! Dwayne

IPv6 issues - 2607:fcc8::/32 off the air this afternoon

My monitoring system caught it at ~ 3:45pm Eastern today. Been borked since. I can see the BGP announcement come back but then disappear again (using routeviews). Just wanted to post as a heads up if anyone is having any strangeness with IPv6 today. A /32 is fairly big in the IPv6 world - so this potentially covers/affects a lot. Hopefully they get this resolved soon. EDIT: routeviews output: route-views>show clock 01:05:15.092 UTC Tue Mar 5 2019 route-views>show bgp ipv6 unicast 2607:fcc8::/32 BGP routing table entry for 2607:FCC8::/32, version 15609749 Paths: (0 available, no best path) Flag: 0x820 Not advertised to any peer

[Upgrades] Okay, D3.1... now what?

Now that 3.1 and Gig have gone out I know symmetrical is a wish but not anytime soon. Any leads on further movement for this year as in say upload increase at least? OFDMA carrier add? It seems since the gig add and base upgrades to most the train hasn’t left the station as to “next stop” yet. Any leads on next hot ticket item?

Would I be a new customer?

we recently switched to DirectTV(I'm not not liking it at all). It's been 4-5 days. If we sign back up under the original billing name, would we be a new customer? What if we switched the bill to my name? I've heard of people doing this and getting new customer pricing. I want Spectrum back, but with a bill almost $250 with no premium services and 60mbps internet(legacy RR/BHN customer), it was way to much. I am also outnumbered 2-1 on switching back, so I might be stuck anyway. I was just curious. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Telephone] Cell phone service

Has anyone tried the cell phone service from spectrum? I have read that they resale verizon cellular service under their name. I am considering it, since verizon is the only thing that works well at my house. I am always skeptical of spectrum pricing, and was wondering if they had a bunch of hidden fees thrown in, like the broadcast fee and such. Thanks Justin

I just got this modem from the store today, was just wondering if there's a way that I can access the modem. https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r32068382-Access-to-the-Spectrum-E31-U-2V1-has-been-established I already tried the instructions in this link, it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know how to access it? Thanks.

A CSR told me that Cinemax was being removed from the Silver/Gold bundle effective 2-15-2019. He told me to call on the 15th and they could enter a promo deal of 12 months free, then $5/mo for the next 12 months. After that is is $10/mo.

So what sense does this make. When I had Frontier Internet 100/100, my laptop would speedtest 100dn. The Spectrum Router (Ultra...speed 400/20) is in the same exact spot as was the was the Frontier Router, same speed test used...speedtest 277mb Down.

Spectrum 201-T vs Spectrum 210-H

Good afternoon, Just had a quick question...my brother and a friend of mine recently had Spectrum HD DVRs installed. One of them received a Spectrum 201-T, and the other received a Spectrum 210-H. From what I can see, both boxes look the same to the eye. Does anyone know what the difference is between these two boxes, and which one of the two would be the better one? Size hard drives, number of tuners, best performance-wise? I was able to find the Spectrum 201-T listed on Spectrum's site, but can't seem to find any info regarding the Spectrum 210-H. I'm about to order TV service from Spectrum myself, and want to be able to ask the tech for the "better" one if he happens to have both on his truck. Thank you! :)

[CATV] Spectrum TV options better than DirecTV Now?

Hello. I'm a current Spectrum Ultra HSI (400/20) customer ($44.99 for 2 yrs) and I stream my TV via DirecTV Now (Just Right package - see image above for all included channels) for $55 p/m. Total with internet it's $100. My question is if Spectrum offers a better deal/package if my internet is bundled with their TV? Either Steaming TV package or regular Cable TV option. I'm in So Cal (SFV) and need some suggestions please. Is it better to stay with Spectrum Internet + DirecTV Now for $100 p/m or can I get something better from Spectrum for BOTH?

Should I be concerned about getting the TM822A Modem?

I am a new Spectrum customer. My self-install kit will have the Arris TM822A DOCSIS 3.0 modem and the Askey RAC2V1K router. The modem seems like old tech? I did not order voice, but I am getting 400/20 Ultra. Do I need to be concerned about not getting a DOCSIS 3.1 - or is that only a problem if I ordered their gig service? Thank you.

Just went to the Spectrum login and it says it doesn't know my equipment. Said I'm either disconnected or haven't turned it on yet. Weird, I'm using their modem with a Netgear R7000 router. And everything is working.. Originally went there to check on the 200/20 upgrades.. but seems impossible to contact them that way.

Spectrum RoKu App...was working fine until today. kept asking me to enter ID\Password...when I clicked Sign in it takes me to a Spectrum Ad to buy Cable TV from Spectrum....nothing to do on that screen but to click BACK...and up comes the screen to sign on again. I than on the Add screen clicked HOME on the Roku Remote and I got the screen with all Apps installed, clicked Spectrum....it momentarily displays loading and than back to that Spectrum screen about buying Spectrum TV. Called Spectrum...advised this has been an ongoing issue and they have no known ETA for when it will be corrected.....

Looking for access to the Hitron E31N2V1 GUI

Hey guys, reaching out for help to all the E31N2V1 users. I can get the modem to respond on 192.168.100.1 if I set my IP to it however it doesn't connect. I've yet to run an open port scan on it. Has anyone had any luck finding a way in and just hasn't said anything yet?

[BHN] Technicolor E31T2V1 gone bad?

Well, 2nd time in 2 days my Netgear Router lost the Internet connection? Modem was showing ALL 3 Blue lights, Power, Online, and Voice on. Routers shows a White LED for Internet, but when I open the GUI in a Browser to the Status page Internet is showing as NOT CONNECTED. First happened at 6:30PM last night. Since I can't see the Router info I decided to call. Looked OK from the agents end. Did the usually power off of both devices except the agent wanted to disconnect the power cord for the modem instead of using the front button, said it was more reliable. Then bring them both up, modem first. Internet was back when this was completed. Today at 3:40PM same thing happened. Called and agent again said it seemed OK from his end, but all he could tell was that the unit responded to a Ping request and the quality of the line. Said that the modem could be going bad (I've had it about 3 months I think?) and he'll roll a truck to replace it. Said they both needed to be rebooted in order of course and offered to reboot the modem from his end if I turn off the router and tell him when I did that. Said I can do it and I'll call back if it doesn't work. This time I used the front button on the modem rather than remove power... held it in until it rebooted. I did NOT power off the router though. However once the modem was fully up I went to the browser and refreshed the status page. Internet now showed as connected and everything was working fine again. Router automatically picked up the signal. Anyone else have a problem with this router? Not sure what I'll get tomorrow (hope it isn't that Arris 16x2 again) and I might not want another Technicolor if these are problematic?

[HSI] Business - Copper or Fiber

Howdy - We currently have 4Mb service through TPX (formerly Telepacific) and are looking to move to Charter/Spectrum for our business. We've received quotes for 25Mbps fiber @ $449/mo and 1Gbpsx35Mbps copper @ $249/mo and I'm trying to decide if fiber is truly worth 2x the price. The majority of our use-case will be RDP sessions and scanned-document uploads via RDP. (Right now I have to disable all windows updates because when they run on even a single computer during the day, it eats the entire 4Mbps pipe). Thanks!

[HSI] Spectrum Gig - Post your experiences here

Let's reserve this thread for only folks who are ordering/have ordered/have installed the new 940x35 tier, served over DOCSIS 3.1. Include location, modem provided, pricing, speed/latency/signal details, etc. To be fair, I'm starting this one a little early. City: Austin, TX (NW) Price: $124.99/mo + tax, $199.99 install fee (no discounts) Confirmed on Twitter earlier today that Gig was available here, then had a 9am Thursday appointment one 8 minute, 54 second call later (no initial hold time for sales). No discounts because I can't exactly pretend I'll switch to AT&T; their service is 5 Mbps here. Will be interesting to see what modem/gateway the tech brings. EDIT: Got email confirmation of the appointment. Looks like it's Wednesday at 1pm now. I'm not complaining :) EDIT 12/20 2p: Tech shows up at 1:51pm. Technicolor modem, same as in Hawaii. No branding on the router, which is an 11ac Wave 2 device with one WAN port (the modem has two LAN ports). Tech is on the phone with dispatch to get the router and modem activated. EDIT 12/22 2:40a: I can't stress enough how good the provided router is (made by Askey), particularly on the WiFi side. I just topped out at over 750 Mbps on my 2013-vintage MacBook Pro...over WiFi. It has a 3x3 11ac radio from Atheros (now QCA). My nearly-brand-new work laptop, which only has a 2x2 radio, was still able to hit 500+ Mbps. Also, I just tested ports 22, 80, 443, and 5900. None of them are blocked.
