FYI: I spoke with sales. This is available for me in SoCal but this screenshot is all she could even provide via email with regards to the 10 channel/network choices. I was quoted approx $127 after taxes with Ultimate Internet Why cannot I upload a screenshot, wtf

Hi everyone, I am new here and honestly this is my last attempt to remain a twc-spectrum customer. I have exhausted my options trying to find the direct corporate phone number for twc-spectrum. I refuse to deal with twc anymore and need to reach someone higher than the "managers" that I am being transferred to. At this point I would be satisfied with anyone who is able to actually access my account and actually help me. I have attempted to go through Charter however they said that they are unable to access my account because the system has not been completely merged. Does anyone have a phone number or email for the CEO, President or anyone of a higher statue? Please any help would be very much appreciated! :huh:

Upgraded to Ultra... and it's no faster

So, I'm in an area [NW Ohio, disregard my profile] where the normal 100 Mbps service is over-provisioned to about 120/13, and the "Ultra" 120 Mbps service is over-provisioned to about 145/13. I was on Ultra in January until I cancelled and opened an account in January in another family member's name. Suddenly, I couldn't get Ultra. After they'd code the account for it, it was pushing a config file to the modem that would flat-out kill it. 0.00015 Mbps up and down. I upgraded to Ultra the other week and my Internet works... but it is still 120/13. No faster than regular 100 Mbps service. Of course, customer support is being useless because "anything over 100 is within spec" and "I'm getting 120 so there isn't a problem", even though the service is actually over-provisioned. I'm on a CM600, so I can't see the config file to check what I'm being set for, but I'm about to switch back to my SB6183 so I *can* check what the file says. Anybody have any useful advice? We went all-digital a week or two ago, but are still 16x4. So I'm assuming it'll be a while before 24x8 and actual speed upgrades to 300 or 400/20. If I can't get this fixed, I'm dropping back to "regular" service. Why pay an extra $20 for the same service?

I have two modems with Spectrum here in Austin Texas. The second modem I use connected direct to a router then computer with the wi-fi turned off so its isolated and protected for my tel-commute work at home. I noticed that desktop RDP connection and the voice calls (also through the remote desktop) are sluggish and choppy audio. I called support and they said switch out the modem. I have done this. And the issues is starting up again today. Also the first modem is starting to see some slow speeds and issues. My boss (highly geeky tech nerd), came over to check things out. He connected direct to each modem and ran some shark program that monitors the traffic to and from the network. He found that there is a very high amount of connection requests on the ICMP port. And he said that Spectrum is under attack in the form of a DDOS attack. I have talked to tech support (over seas), talked to local support, was transferred to security department. I keep getting the run around about having to send logs, having to call support, switch out the modem. Round and Round I go. The problem now, the attack is getting worse, and I can't work, and on the first modem with wi-fi, we use it for netflix and other stuff and the speed has dropped from around 170 mpbs to around 40. This means the ICMP requests are increasing. Has anyone else seen this happening and is there a department I can report this to that will fix the problem and not send me to the next department? IT seems there is no process for this on the customer service front lines. And my boss said it may be too small to detect, until its too late and then it becomes too big of a problem to solve with days of downtime.

Considering switch from FIOS to Spectrum

Long time loyal FIOS user, but rates (especially "surcharges and fees") keep going up and up and I'm considering a switch to Spectrum, our other option here (lower Westchester country, NY). Am being offered a very attractive deal with faster speed download (but WAY slower upload) and pretty much the package I have now for less, guaranteed for three years. But when I went on here to check reviews, there seem to be NONE in my area (there weren't last year either) and reliability and service are important to us. It used to be Time Warner here and they were HORRIBLE from what I've heard with many outages and bad customer service, so I don't know if Spectrum just took over and it's the same service or if they've improved, and most of my neighbors have FIOS. Anyway to find out if service is decent in my area? And if so, will it be much of a hassle switching over? I hate leaving FIOS but I have to fight for discounts every year and this year I am facing yet another big raise.

Advice on changing legacy twc triple play to spectrum plan

Need advice on the best way to do this. We currently have TWC triple play and looking to downgrade and save some $ since we no longer fully utilize what we have. First of all when I go spectrum's website and input our address, I can select "No, I would like to set up new service for this address" and see the offers. Can I go through with selecting the plan I am interested in then proceeding to checkout even though we are already customers? I always read that to obtain these pricing we had to be considered as new customers. For that to happen, I would need to cancel and wait I think 30 days+? Current bill is at ~ $179 I am looking at Spectrum Internet + TV Choice at ~ $74 (Promo price) In short what is the best way for me to go from legacy twc triple play to spectrum plans (particularly the 100Mbps net + "Spectrum TV Choice")?

[HSI] IPv6 down in Michigan?

IPv6 hasn't been working for me for a month or so now. I figured that maybe there's a problem with the configuration on my EdgeRouter X and I've been troubleshooting that for a while now with no luck. I tried direct connection to my modem which is a Netgear CM600 and I still can't get an IPv6 address. I've rebooted both my modem and laptop several times. I also made sure everything was up to date. Is anyone else having issues?

Before I call support again, any tips?

Recently swapped a old SB6121 for a new SB6183 bought from local big box store. Called in, got it activated, and of course, things got slower. Going home tonight for a serious "eliminate other issues" (router, switch, cables, etc) session before calling support, but I suspect the new modem did not get configured right. Is there any info from the SB6183 that would indicate an incorrect config? Yes, I have internet, but speed test results have dropped to 18-22Mbps average.

Hello. In the web site account in a web browser, I currently see "Outage in Your Area: We’re sorry, there’s an outage in your area impacting your service. We can notify you with a phone call when service has been restored. Troubleshooting won’t fix the issue, so we recommend waiting till the outage is resolved. GET NOTIFIED". However, I do not see this message in "My TWC" iOS app in an iPhone 4S (iOS v9.3.5). Why doesn't it show up in there? Thank you in advance. :)

So, im a twc legacy account and have 100/10. Ive been thinking about upgrading my speed, but i cant find any info on what my options are. I even logged into my account and it only displays the extra cost, but no infor on what i get for the price. Upgrade to internet extreme. $10+ Upgrade to internet ultimate. $40+ Does anyone know the speeds these 2 upgrades get? City of Torrance to be exact

I swear I must have some sort of red check mark on my account since everytime I contact Charter both the rep and I get annoyed and nothing gets accomplished. After losing a promo, I was ready to just dump Spectrum TV until I read about Choice here. I swear I've seen posts where people said the bundling discount still applies. But I just got off the phone with a rep who insisted that Choice was only available if you already had an internet package and so the "discount" was already applied. He wanted to talk only in terms of "about" when discussing prices, so I' not sure how going from a $79 package to a $30 package would only save me $39, not $49. Guess it was below the line gouging but he avoided answering when I asked. He said he wouldn't be able to quote exact prices until I agreed to the change and started reading the script for the new agreement. I've seen some very good Spectrum employees here (at least I think they're employees) but that type of person seems to be effectively non-existent every time I have to call about a problem or change in service. I understand companies not giving a dxxx about customer service, but Charter seems to go out of their way to make things even more difficult than they need to be. So can you get the bundle discount with Choice and Internet? The guy said his software wouldn't even allow him to set that up, and besides, he always follows the rules.

Spectrum Choice and tivo?

Spectrum Choice seems to be about streaming, but the optional fee for a DVR box seems to suggest that it should be able to be used with a tivo (rather than a charter DVR) if one gets a cablecard. Does anyone have any idea?
