My tuning adaptor fails about once every 7-10 days (no pattern to it). BHN has been out three times over the past few months. Last time it was "incorrect voltage" that was causing it I was told. They corrected it a day later and it just failed again about a week later. Unplugging the power "fixes" it but that's not the real solution. It's an MTR700. Symptoms: the red light is on and is unable to receive most high number channels. It's connected to a cable card inside my TIVO. Has been installed for 2+ years and the problems started about 6 months ago. It's getting to be very frustrating; I don't think they have a clue about the root cause but will insist they replace it this time. Next time it fails, I'll insist on replacing the cable card. On each service call, I tell the tech about DSL Reports and none have ever heard about it. I think it's a great resource for them.
