I am in SoCal/SFV and used to have Time Warner. They first gave me an Arris TG1672G modem.
The first problem I had is CONSTANT WiFi drops, the only solution I found was bridging it to router but that throttled my speeds back.
Now with Spectrum in the area, they had me trade in all my "old" equipment for "new" equipment. As far as I can tell its just different software.
Continuing on I get the same exact model back. I thought it would be different but I was wrong. The drops are back and I am going have to bridge again for a stable connection unless anyone has any solutions.
One interesting thing I saw was even with the new modem, it retained all the old information from the last modem.
