Did I go too far? Internet/TV out for 4 days, keep getting run around from charter so take a day off work, they don't show or call as normal. Comes to Saturday and they no show/no call as well. I get pissed and jerk the cable connection box (that's locked) out of the ground to check it. So I have it laying on it's side, cables everywhere, seems like the PSU was working fine. I don't have one of those signal meters so everything seemed normal (connectinons, etc.) so started walking up the line and pulling up the neighbors to check theirs. I got to one that was different and stopped. Finally the tech came (the next evening) and it turned out to be something wrong with the underground cable between 2 or my neighrobors' boxes. I guess next time I could just run a continuity test with a MM between boxes. Any way to test the signal with a Fluke MM or at least get an idea.
