So before I moved to this new house I called Charter to have my services moved. Gave them my new address...No problem scheduled the install for yesterday.
The tech comes out and says "I have some bad news...There isn't a Charter line ran to your house...The closest one is up there at your neighbor's about 350ft away." So he says he will schedule them to come out and install a line and bury it...
So I call Charter back that afternoon to make sure the line installation and burial was scheduled for today and she begins to talk about serviceability surveys. I said "Wait a second...I bought this house specifically because Charter said I could move my services here no problem...Now you're saying they may say it's not worth the time to run a line to the house next door?" So she says "Well if we said you should have service there I am sure they will just run a line.." I was not feeling very confident about it...
So this morning I get on chat with a lady who says that they are in fact installing a line today and I should call back tomorrow to schedule my install of services...So now I don't know what to believe...
Any advice from similar situations?
