The past two days I've noticed a charter tech or who ever from charter doing work at my next door neighbors house. On the second day my internet went out randomly I stepped out to see the tech at the junction box or what ever it was called so I went back inside did something else and had internet back within an hour. Yesterday and today I've noticed my down speed which is usually around 30 is now cut in half around 15 range but my upload remains the same speed. Could this be due to what ever the tech was doing at the junction box that caused my internet to go out? What would be normal spec for down stream settings so I can check if what I'm getting is within normal specs. I find it odd though not surprised that I would see problems when I noticed my internet went out for someone else's service work.
