Here's the story, I just purchased a new build near Locust Grove GA in an Association run neighborhood.
Some houses have Charter HSI/TV, some do not. ATT DSL is maxed out and they are not taking on new subscribers. The neighborhood/Association has been in place since mid 2005. Sales dropped off in 2007-2008 and there were many empty lots left over. My best guess is 200-400 lots are present.
The empty lots were sold off and new builders are selling them at a rapid pace, not sure of the percentage yet. I will get the information from the Association when we close on the house.
I requested my service be transferred to my new address and Charter would have to perform a viabilty survey.
The survey came back negative.
From reading here it seems the Association has to negotiate with Charter to provide service for the rest of the community.
Is there any other source of information regarding the contract between Charter and my Association other than my Association.
Is Charter required to complete roll-out once a certain percentage of lots are occupied?
I'd also be interested if this particular location has been discussed here before.
Thanks!
