Hey yall, long time subscriber and complainer.
We have been having more frequent drops as of late, and I am considering calling and having my modem replaced again. Most of the time it seems to not be self resetting or its taking inordinately long to do so and I wind up powering it off and back on (yanking cord). One thing I note a lot is when we have these outages and/or like this morning when I couldn't get over 16Mbps the Wireless LED was blinking ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAdZEp74KA0&list=UUgqjP_bbyDZ6ZNqLOsxUisQ recorded because charter techs like to tell you that you are mistaken far too often). I have had them disable wireless as I have a nice router and dont need theirs adding to the airwave congestion. This morning it was blinking but using a wifi meter app for my phone I couldn't find any new signals in the area of the appropriate strength.
Are there any other business customers seeing anything similar with wifi disabled? Has Charter started to adopt a new business modem yet?
