I just got 2 cable cards for my TiVo Premiers (have always just had basic cable using the internal tuners). They work fine - I guess either they have figured out how to configure them or I got lucky when I called and got the "right" person. I now have the Charter Select plan.
I am trying to figure out if this is going to be the true through their "digital conversion" - I read all kinds of stories about needing a "tuning adapter", is this just for the premium channels or will this be for all the channels?
Any help on what is happening and how it affects me (or specifically my TiVo) would be appreciated - I think I must be one of the few that is satisfied with Charter and a big reason is I love the TiVo and have had one for years, I can't imagine TV without it.
