We're building a new home and will be going with Charter for phone service. All the phone wiring from inside the house will terminate where the service will be mounted on the outside wall of the house (in case I ever change my mind in the future and want POTS). Does Charter typically do a good job connecting to those (ie. do they install a weather proof box to cover the wiring outside)? Obviously Charter's phone connection to the inside wiring will be inside the house as opposed to AT&T POTS which is done outside the house. So, just curious if they do a good install job when the home has never had POTS service installed before.
