I have the Cable, 300/20, and VOIP. Want to make sure the tech set me up correctly. Coming in the house, i have a splitter with signal going to the cable modem (which is bridged) and the other half going to a 4 port powered AMP sending cable signals to 3 TV's. A couple questions:
1) Is it always best practice to split the signal between the modem and the TV's?
2) There is a moca filter on the incoming line before the spliter because I used to use the moca function of my cable modem. With it bridged, I don't use moca but does it hurt to leave the filter?
3) Based on my signals above, do i even need the amp? What do signal levels look like when an amp is considered?
