I've been having random dropped connections for the past 4 months with Charter internet at my business. I've called multiple times and have had about 6 truck rolls to my office to investigate. After 4 months of dealing with this, the techs have determined that there is an outside source causing a power spike or noise with the signal coming into the modem. All the lines and equipment inside my building are 100% fine.
The internet will randomly cut out for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then come back online. During this period, light on the modem will blink then go to solid green in the following order: DS, US, Online. Then it will work again for awhile.
Is it possible that the ground is bad on our outside terminal and is the root cause of our connectivity issues?
I know nothing about wiring, so I apologize in advance.
See attached images.
P.S: In the time it took to post this, our internet has cut out three times.
