I had the everyday low price everyday internet plan and TWC Digital Phone Service for around $60.00 a month. I decided to get a quote on the new Spectrum Triple Play Plans. I was originally quoted $110.98 a month for their triple play with a cable card and HD Set top box that includes tax's and fees. The tech came out today to install the services he had trouble getting the cable card and tuning adapter added to the account and the department the techs talk to for cable card activation was shut down and had problems finding somebody to add it and activate it. Then he moves on to activate the HD set top box and I noticed it was an HD DVR. I told him that I was suppose to be an HD Box not DVR and he told me the package they have me in includes the DVR so sales department lied to me. Instead of going through the hell of trying to talk to sales to change my package when the tech was here I decided to keep their DVR and have them exchange out the cable card and tuning adapter for an HD Box. Which changed my monthly bill with taxes and fees to $114.24 a month. According to the tech I am not the only one to have these types of issues with their sales department. I also found out from the tech in Cincinnati Ohio that I get the 100MBPS internet he said their website was incorrect about 60MBPS being the base speed. I got 119MBPS download and 12MBPS on upload.
