[Speed Issues] Lag Problems when online

I have an issue with my connection lately. It seems fine until I do something like play games online. Every now and then I'll get a lag spike for a split second. At first this was rare so I thought it might just be the games. Now it's becoming more common which made me monitor my network. It's indeed coming from Charter where the lag spikes are happening not the servers in the games. The issue came up after a few months ago they had some planned outage where everything was super slow then afterwards the lag started show. At that time it was very rare and wasn't an issue but today I've never seen it this bad. It seems to be happening way too frequently. During those split second lag spikes the network goes back to flawless speeds. I've seen the upload/download speed both hit by this where you can see the noise somewhere. My signal levels never change and are near perfect on all channels. Channel 1: 0.6 dBmV 39.5 dB Channel 2: 0.6 dBmV 39.5 dB Channel 3: 0.8 dBmV 39.6 dB Channel 4: 0.8 dBmV 39.5 dB Channel 5: 0.8 dBmV 39.4 dB Channel 6: 1.1 dBmV 39.5 dB Channel 7: 1.1 dBmV 39.4 dB Channel 8: 1.3 dBmV 39.6 dB Channel 9: 1.3 dBmV 39.5 dB Channel 10: 1.4 dBmV 39.6 dB Channel 11: 1.3 dBmV 39.5 dB Channel 12: 1.3 dBmV 39.4 dB Channel 13: 1.3 dBmV 39.0 dB Channel 14: 1.2 dBmV 39.5 dB Channel 15: 1.1 dBmV 39.5 dB Channel 16: 1.3 dBmV 39.6 dB Upstream Channels Power Level: Channel 1: 43.5 dBmV Channel 2: 0.0 dBmV Channel 3: 0.0 dBmV Channel 4: 0.0 dBmV Did Charter ever fully merge with TWC? I'm wondering if it's something on the back end they've been tweaking around with the past 2 months. I don't even want to call them over this issue but no way will they fix an intermittent issue like this in my experience with them unless it's a huge glaring problem where they can simply see it in the RF readings. Not sure what to do here. Any common issues it can be? 100% positive not on my end eliminated that(router, wireless, etc.). All stuff at my house is brand new so most likely a problem extending out in my area. It's super frustrating because it's so fast it's actually hard to even see it's a network problem unless I monitor my network in the background because like I said, speeds will go back to being fine. Noise problem somewhere. Wondering if it's possible they have tools where they can monitor my modem and possibly see an estimate where this problem is happening to get a truck rolled out?
