Charter currently offers only TV service (no phone/Internet) in my neighborhood.
A couple years after moving in, the cable drop to my residence blew down in a storm. I subsequently removed all of the leads and sealed off the ports.
Now, Charter is preparing to offer Internet service in my neighborhood and I will need to have the drop re-installed.
I presume that Charter would be responsible for the drop itself. I am curious about who would be responsible for installing the lead that goes from the grounding block to where I will install the modem.
Part of my concern is that I want the cable to be routed through a conduit I have installed from the outside to a pantry that I am using as a network closet. (I would prefer not to have an installer drill new holes through my exterior walls.)
Thanks. =)
