So I've noticed over the past two months that Charter has been here in my town A LOT, specifically on my road where the main fiber optic line feeds the rest of my town.
They seem to be replacing, or upgrading the line. They've also been replacing the roadside boxes,and repairing lines all through my town. Someone at our fire dept. said that Charter just bought the local phone company, TDS Telecom (I don't know if it's true or not). So it makes me wonder if our town is finally getting the triple play bundle, and if we are that will be so nice since we could save quite a bit of money.
Don't know what's going on for sure, but it does make one wonder. But I do find it a big coincidence that as soon as Charter starts upgrading and repairing stuff, our local phone company is sold. What do you all think?
