I have discovered a weird little issue with Music Choice.
We have a Motorola DCH6416 DVR as well as three Motorola DCX3501-M DVRs. I like the DCX3501's better as they run a bit faster, you can't cook an egg on them, and they have a lot more disk space.
That said, I am having a weird issue with the DCX3501's. When listening to any of the Music Choice channels, if you pause (or rewind), upon resuming playback, the audio does not function properly. The song will play for a few seconds, then stop, then resume playback for a few more seconds (resuming from the point where it had just sopped), then stop again, then play again... the only way to fix it is to hit the "LIVE" button, or to change up a channel and back down.
This DOES NOT happen on the DCH6416, however. You can pause the channel, rewind, etc. and the audio will play just fine when you do. It's only the newer DCX3501's that are having the issue.
Has anyone else noticed this? I did try it with other DCH6416's and DCX3501's in other locations (here in town) on different accounts, and the same behavior is present.
Almost sounds like a bug in the software running on the newer DVRs, as the older ones didn't seem to have the issue.
Thoughts?
